Florida's Wild Landscapes through the Lens of Clyde Butcher Lecture and Photography Show

Florida Humanities Council - Community Projects grant and Cedar Key Arts Center present events focused on Florida’s most iconic landscape photographer, Clyde

Butcher. Clyde will share hand- selected images honed for the Nature

Coast audience and present a lecture about his photography. Exciting free events surround the opening reception held on March 3rd. Seats are free but limited. Secure your free ticket by visiting Clyde’s lecture will be held at the Cedar Key Community Center starting at 1:30 p.m. with a book signing followed by a one hour lecture focusing on his techniques, design, and composition that he incorporates into his landscape photographs.

Then events move to the Cedar Key Arts Center for the free Opening Reception of “Florida’s Wild Landscapes Through the Lens of Clyde Butcher“ photography display at 5:00 p.m.. He will be available at the reception to sign books until 7:00 p.m.

The photography event is upstairs at the Arts Center through April 30th, 2018.

Open daily, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Cedar Key Arts Center and the Cedar Key Community are handicap accessible.
